Eskdale Saddlery is the local tack shop for horse owners living both sides of the Scottish border.

Whether you are a competitive rider, a happy hacker or a carriage driver our aim is to supply your needs and provide a happy environment with friendly and helpful staff.

David is our saddle specialist, we favor saddles that he can fit to your horse at your yard, he can watch as you try it out and adjust the fit to ensure that the pressure is even throughout the whole of the panel, that the saddle sits level and stays properly in place as you ride. We fit and repair saddles, if you live within fifty miles of Longtown Dave will come out and check the fit of your saddle and make any adjustments necessary and watch a brief test ride to ensure a good fit.

Our staff are also properly trained to fit safety head wear and body protectors. We also wash, reproof and repair horse rugs and tack, just bring them into the shop and we will give you a call when they are ready to be collected, please contact us for more information.
